Kirk McLean was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils 107th overall in the 1984 entry draft. He made his NHL debut on
April 5th, 1986, then got his first start the next night, both against the New York Islanders. McLean would play in four more games the following season before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks. McLean's
